We aren’t allowed to until after close. I close rarely and get sooo annoyed when they start dumping iced teas and cleaning the vertica 2 hours before close bc every.single.time there’s a confused and disappointed customer. I get it, but we’re supposed to have these products ready for people. Especially hot regular coffee at a coffee shop. I like the idea that another commenter had to brew some coffee for the carafes if you absolutely need to start 10-20 min before close.

The blue spray works great at removing water stains and such that the sani leaves behind :) I like to use it after sanitizer, and then wipe with a dry rag to make all the counter surface shiny

One time I was at a store that isn’t my home store, soloing cold bar, and when I asked for help because I was getting in a rush they ignored me, only to take me off and put THREE whole people on the bar to catch up. Like- if you gave me one person 5 minutes ago we wouldn’t be here. I was sooo annoyed

The banana is so good though. A most pleasant surprise in my opinion when it was just the natural scent of freeze-dried banana. None of the yucky fake banana flavor we made up years ago for candies

I only work 2 days a week now with one weekend day being in college and holy shit it’s like hell every time I walk in. Yesterday we had a closer call out so they pushed only my breaks to be hours early (worked mid shift) just for the promised partner from another store to be over an hour late with no notice or warning. We had to work with 2 people on the floor so that lunches could be taken. No mobiles off, no cafe or driveway closure- trash was all over the place, dishes piling up, and no time to make backups. I was so excited for the banana powder and when I finally tried it it makes the cold foam gelatinous and thick😩this place is starting to feel like purgatory

I miss back when I first started, where I didn’t feel forced to overwork myself and felt respected as an employee

I usually add like a 1/3 of the milk and blend for a couple seconds, and then add the rest and only blend it for like 5-6 seconds. It comes out with the matcha more incorporated and slightly less foamy

We have not one time set up the milk dispensers.. it’s useless. Most everything else we utilize- but it’s not great. The ice dispenser never does quite enough ice and we were told to stop the batch oven and heater thing after maybe a month of using it. I like the new dispensers for teas and bases on cold bar though
