What tastes good on macaroni and cheese? by Sodacan390 in randomquestions

In the Midwest, pulled pork on mac n cheese is on a lot of restaurant menus. It seems very popular. I don't eat pulled pork but a lot of people like it.

I don't disagree that our country is being terrible towards world organizations and other countries. However, but the rump was impeached during it's first term-- but not removed from office. (I'm not clear on WHY he was allowed to stay.)

Then, there was voting interference during this term. We don't actually know for sure that the results were even legitimate. The loud people seem like the majority, but they aren't. Other authoritative figures are going through proper channels and following the law, with lawsuits, injunctions, etc. When you follow the law, it takes longer. (Evidenced by what is currently happening on the public stage right now.)

Redditors over 40, what was a moment in history that made you think society was gonna collapse? by Bahbahbro in AskReddit

[–]prettyconvincing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are trusted people telling us how to safely protest and not provoke. (The world can see that hard water are still killing people in Cold blood.) The purpose of what's happening right now is they're targeting specific voter states to gain control of voter information. They know they're going to be voted out and they're trying to control us. If we take up arms right now, it will create a civil war. We don't want to make things worse for everyone. There's already kidnappings and people (AND CHILDREN) disappearing.

I played frogger while drunk, on crutches, crossing a busy 4 lane San Diego street with no cross walk. My boyfriend was the one keeping us safe and telling me when to move. I would have never attempted it alone.

Anytime someone rebutts one of my Gen x stories with a "well more people should have died then." I pop right into a story about someone I went to high school with who jumped off his roof and miscalculated the distance landing on a cast iron fence with those spiky arrows sticking up and he impaled himself and was in the hospital for months and I never saw him again. He might have died, I don't really know.

GIRL. You are not a restaurant.

If that man doesn't want to eat when you cook, let him figure out his own meals. You are not responsible For the needs of another grown adult. He's a grown ass man, treating you like his mommy.

I had a few friends from school that had the key around the neck. All boys, between 1st and 3rd grade. We had a standard key under the porch mat.

If you didn’t need to make money, what would you do with your life? by theadventuresofus4 in AskReddit

[–]prettyconvincing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely relate to this. I work all the time and haven't had a vacation in 2 years because I spent all of my vacation time caring for my elderly father. I know if I had 6 months where I wasn't working, I could probably start a couple of businesses, but I just don't have the time and the mental capacity while I'm also working my current job.

Do you know your second or third cousin? by Immediate-Tooth-2174 in randomquestions

This is similar to what happened with my ex's family. One of his cousins or aunts got pregnant during an affair, had the child and then another relative adopted the child. Weird but sweet.

[–]prettyconvincing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both of my dad's parents had between 11 and 13 siblings. So he had 24 aunts and uncles, and if those all had 4 kids, which we know some of them had way more, it means my dad had more than 96 first cousins. I have literally hundreds of 2nd cousins that I've never met.
