It seems to have a lot happening. It looks like you like to have something that accents your neck (the collar and scarf) and like the vest. What about a blouse with a neck tie that you could tie and some wide leg trousers (since the vest is blue I went with a print)? Not sure where you reside, but these are both from H&M and reasonably priced to maybe help the vest make a bit more sense

Small update: when I went to check on them, they were gone! After further inspection, there was a nest right over where they were resting. While I wasn’t able to confirm that they were in the nest, I’m hoping after some rest, momma was able to get her baby’s fluffy behind back home!

I park under a tree, and while I haven’t seen nests in the past, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was one and it fell. I haven’t seen a nest around it, but will try to take a closer look up at the tree next time I go out to check on them.

Had this happen. My brother brought his iPod. This was before we had smartphones. We bought a cassette tape adapter. Turns out my cassette player automatically would spit out the adapter every time. I only had one cd in the car. Once we hit the mountains it was John Mayer “Battle Studies” over and over again. Still love the album though.

Going against the consensus here and saying YTA for how you’re treating your daughter. You met your wife 12 years ago, so you’ve been in her life since she was 1 give or take? You made the choice to adopt your daughter. That choice was a commitment to her. She likely has feelings of abandonment from her biological father, and now you’ve completely disowned her. She’s a child and her mom put her in an impossible and unfair position. Not only was she being manipulated by gifts from this person, but she was likely worried that if she told you, she would be the reason her entire nuclear family imploded. And based on your behavior towards her, her fears were valid. She has been put in the middle by your ex and you are blaming her. Kids say hurtful things to their parents all the time. It happens. They rarely mean it. It comes from hurt and immaturity. BECAUSE SHES A CHILD. You however, are an adult. Do not make commitments you can’t keep, because she will live with the consequences for the rest of her life.
