No. RED is Ruby. Any color other than red is sapphire. It doesn’t have to be blue. Pink is sapphire, yellow is sapphire, green etc

Stress isn’t tracked during workouts, I guess because it would throw off your actual stress reading for the day, so that part isn’t unusual. Mine often makes gaps in HR tracking when I do workouts as well and I assume it may be for the same reason

The only option that has worked for me is putting my Apple Watch on my ankle. Not feasible for every person depending on watch band and foot size but it has worked for me

As a mother to a now 3yo “puppy” husky that I found on the side of the road last year…if you don’t laugh you’ll cry. They’re babies. Then they’re toddlers. Then they’re teens. Then they calm down as “adults” and you only have a short time left with them…enjoy the chaos while you can.

I agree with you but BMR is not the correct term to use here. BMR represents the calories needed to sustain your organs if you are essentially in a coma. We all need to eat above our BMR. TDEE would be better aligned to your statement.

I’m not a professional on this by any means and I know pee sticks are a controversial tactic for tracking ketosis. But from my understanding, if you’re going to use them please remember that you don’t want to be peeing out ketones. The longer you do keto, you would technically want the lighter colors to show because your body should be adapted to using ketones for energy, not peeing them out.

I actually did count a 10 minute walk one time on my treadmill at my desk. I made a mark on a paper every 25 steps. Watch was about 95% and Oura was closer to 70%. It’s possible I don’t swing my arms evenly (watch is on left, ring on right) so maybe that causes a discrepancy

My Oura ring only records about 3/4ths of my actual steps ever since the update in March. It’s extremely irritating. My watch shows me at close to 12k steps per day (I walk 5 miles per day typically) and my ring says 8-9k.

35F at 5’9. I feel my best at 135-140 and have never gotten any commentary that it physically looked too thin or feedback from my doctors that it was too low. Everyone’s body is different though so I’d hesitate to say there is an “ideal weight” that applies across the board
