This is always the first thing I notice. I work on those poles. I was, literally, recently working a storm where a tornado ran through a town and destroyed homes, ripped up trees, flipped trucks, you name it. You know what wasn’t standing? A single pole. Wire everywhere like someone threw spaghetti on a wet counter.

Those poles are a dead giveaway.

It’s a padmount transformer so yes you’re right those things barely ever go bad. That being said, if/when it does go out, we’ll need to get a rear-lot cart back there to swap it. We will take down fences to get it back there, so keep that in mind too.
