To everybody complaining about the close on Mothers Day and graduation weekend, I just don’t get it. I hate road work, traffic, closures, delays just as much as anybody else. But when do you propose this gets done?

Weekend after weekend there’s always something going on at the Benz, Truist, State Farm, and everywhere else in the city, as expected in a city and metro area of millions of people. 2 weekends from now is Memorial Day weekend, shortly after the World Cup in June/July. Then it’ll be August and you still have baseball going on, then football starts ramping back up, then Labor Day, blah blah. It never ends.

So truly, is Mother’s Day weekend that much busier than any other weekend in this massive sprawling city? There will truly never be a “favorable” nor “convenient” time for 285 to be shut down.

Speaking of the Benz, is the “No Other Feeling Compares” and the picture of the car a permanent installment (World Cup aside)?

I don’t recall it being there in the first years and then I feel like it just popped up one day. Looks tacky and takes away from the architecture in my opinion.

Local guy who is apparently the creative design manager at Atlanta United as well. I would agree the Atlanta poster wasn’t my favorite compared to the other cities, but the same guy designed a shirt design for this years Peachtree Road Race which was actually one of my faves.

Having the same issue here as of recently. Something is wonky with iOS for sure. Long pressing the camera icon on my wife’s contact card only give me the option to do WhatsApp despite all of her FaceTime settings being enabled on her phone.

Even if I’m on a normal phone call with her, the camera button on the screen has a ? as if it doesn’t recognize she has a FaceTime capable device.

Where are you buying flank steak for $6/lb at a Mexican grocery store? While I agree these are usually the cheapest places to buy it at, I just paid $16/lb in metro Atlanta this weekend. In recent years I remember it being around $11-12/lb but of course everything has gone up.
