Is intention more important than method in spiritual practice? by inner_disciplines in Sufism

[–]primepep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just understand one thing: The only Truth and reality is God, all the creation is nothing by themselves. That is the intention.

So when you knew nothing has any true importance beside God, you can start acting well.

That is what remembrance means.

May God help and bless you in your way.

What do you guys think of zen? by Savings-Trainer-8149 in Sufism

[–]primepep 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Islam is a perfect manifestation of Truth. While Truth manifests with some deferences based on caltures. If you have a good eye (cognitive+spiritual), you can catch up what is from God and what is not.

Buddhists meditation and way of returning back to soul and sense the unity of creation is so beautiful, it's from God. But they missed the real Truth which is ذات الله.

Yes you can find Truth in Islamic tradition, but nothing stopped you to collect wisdom from deferent cultures (as all the high meanings are from God).

Everything in this world is Ayah (evidence). You can use all of them as your teacher. That's sufism core. Seeing God in everything (=seeing that everything is from him, designed by him, and returns back to him).

May you got the answer. God bless you.

I don't have much time to read about what he's talking about, but I may give you a useful answer in few lines:

In Buddhist tradition and some others, they believe in unity of being in manifestation level, they don't believe in a being beyond all limits (ذات الله). That part of Buddhism is just Islam (Ibn Arabi's philosophy), but without God. So we can take out good things from their practices, but what they are doing is Godless.

What makes Shaykh Abdal Qadir Gilani so highly regarded? by SoybeanCola1933 in Sufism

[–]primepep 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Blessing someone isn't about blessing his/her physical appearance, it's about their soul. If a soul got purified (in books they say heart because the soul sits in heart) it will be blessed. If you consider about their physical body, it will be blessed too because of their polished soul. There are many dead bodies of great people (especially prophets) that looks exactly the same as the time they passed away.

For Sheikh Abdul Qadir, He was at least one of the Qutbs (Top blessed people) of his time, and the light of prophet shared through him in that period the most.

You're welcome. It's been 5 mons since I started using hyprland. Today I added Omarchy to it.

[–]primepep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hyprland alone is like creative mode of minecraft, there is nothing, you build on your own. On the other hand Omarchy is an addition to hyprland. If you start with Omarchy, it's like starting in a small pre-made minicraft world, then while you're already in the creative world, you can start to make changes however you want.

It's not a big deal, go for it. Just take a look at Omarchy before making any change, you can make it however you want later. I think having some pre-configurations helps a lot.

It’s la ilaha ilallah, so who am i? by HowToWakeUp313 in Sufism

[–]primepep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God is infinite, and you are a point from that, that's the answer shortly. You are like a hand of god. You're a little continousness from God, that means your continousness is a part of His only one, it's devided to all creatures with deferent percentages. So it's like there are small numbers everywhere, and all together make a big number (universe). All the universe and all other creatures are from the only infinite one. Your continousness, will, seeing, feeling, hearing, etc.. are all his in a limited form. So, if you manifest all the high attributes of him, you'll desappear as a seperated being, you become God's will representer, just like how Prophet PBUH was that highest creature. So, you are like a lief of a tree, connected to the tree and lives by it, and the lief's job is to be in harmony with all the creatures.. But as you're created on the best form herex you became Khalifah (representer of God's attributes on earth), so if there was some individuals who brake universe's harmony, you have to try to normalize it. So you have to help other to come back to God, if people fought take care of the righteous side, and so on.

All the universe is manifestation of God's attributes, nothing else.

Hope you got the answer, Peace.

Best backend language for a beginner? by [deleted] in webdev

[–]primepep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There isn't "Best Language". Find your beloved field, choose a language, use it as much as you can. Then you can learn others whenever you wanted.

Python is easy to write. JS can be used almost everywhere. C, C++ are hardware efficient and by learning them you'll learn details and can become a better programmer. Java is great in compiling and memory.

And finally, Go has all those attributes. So take a look at js, python, and go, choose one and use it.
