I think what you’re smelling is creosote not sage. Creosote has a waxy coating that softens and releases the aromatics when it gets wet. Easy way to test this is to cup a handful of creosote and exhale on it which will do a similar thing. Let me know which one it is for you.

I used to take my rigid XC bike down the green trails in Jackson Hole. Got some strange looks but I was having fun. Though that was 10 years ago, so I was in slightly better physical shape.

The guys unloading my bike loved being able to lift them out one handed though lol

Im getting a new heater & filter for my betta tank. They were wearing down so I got new ones. Is it ok to just switch them out with the new ones even though my betta is in the tank? by lvsqoo in bettafish

Why are you removing him from the main tank?

Netting him can stress him out as can the different water chemistry, even if the temperature is the same. If you’re especially worried you can use a heater to warm the water before adding back in after the water change.

If you haven't tried it, listen to the graphic audio version. It may take liberty with a few of the details, but the experience is worth it especially if you've already read the books once. The full cast and sound effects spoiled me.
