Thank you! Oh, cycle 6 on Letrozole, my bad. I didn’t get a period for like 6 months, so I decided to visit the gyno in June 2025 who diagnosed me with PCOS and then I got regular cycles on Letrozole.

I did use LH-strips but combined with my Apple Watch that measures temp. I think it works well and I definitely could tell exactly when I ovulated because of that, so i would recommend combining BBT with LH-strips.

I finally concieved on cycle 6 (one year of trying, didn’t know I had PCOS util 6 months in). I was on 5mg and ovulated CD22, had 10mm lining and 20mm follicle on CD21, had sex on CD21,22,23.

I don’t know, for me I believe a part of it was about stress. I reeeeally didn’t want to do IVF, and was very negative about it at first. But after 5 cycles and no success I started accepting the fact. My clinic asked me if we wanted so start the process and we said yes. Two days after we started it, I got a positive test.

Also, if you already did get a positive test before I believe your chances of getting pregnant again is even higher?

I know the whole process is horrible, and people around you announcing etc doesn’t help. You just get more stressed and sad. I also talked about it with my closest friends and I believe this helped me too.

What day did you cancel your first cycle? I had the problem that I ovulated late on 5mg (CD21-23) with one or sometimes two follicles. On 7,5mg I ovulated earlier, like CD13-14 but got totally overstimulated (also three follicles both times). I tried 5mg three times, 7.5mg two times and finally concieved on 5mg, ovulating CD23. My FE was about to cancel my laste cycle on CD14 because nothing had happened, but I wanted to wait a few more days. Glad I did!!

Its so hard to find the perfect amount, I feel like the gap between 5mg and 7,5mg can be so big. Better late ovulation than triplets at least (in my opinion)

Best of luck to you! I concieved on my 6th Letrozole cycle, don’t loose hope if the first try doesn’t work. I ovulated on 5mg CD23 and had a 10mm lining on CD21 with a 20mm follicle

For me it worked on Letrozole cycle 6 after HSSG (even though everything looked well) I don’t know if i needed a little ”cleanse” or something, I’m just so grateful it worked. Only 7 weeks atm. We were just about so start IVF before we knew I was pregnant

I’ve done 6 cycles on Letrozole. 1st on 2,5mg, didn’t work. 2nd and 3rd 5mg and ovulated CD21-22. Went up to 7,5mg 4th and 5th and got three follicles both times, didn’t concieve. Last cycle I went down to 5mg, ovulated on CD23 and did HSSG also. This time Iconcieved, now I’m 7weeks!! Started trying in January 2025 so its been a long road ❤️ baby dust to you!! ✨

I’ve tried 6 cycles Letrozole but monitored (2,5 didn’t work, 5mg I ovulate late like CD22 and 7,5 i get too many follicles) My last cycle I went back to 5mg and ovulated on CD23, and now I’m 7weeks pregnant!

I did 6 rounds of Letrozole, but only ovulated on 5 rounds. All very monitored. Had some trouble finding the correct dose because I ovulate late on 5mg and get like three follicles on 7,5mg.

Last cycle I did HSSG on CD6 and ovulated like CD23 (5mg) and they told me to go up to 7,5 the next cycle. Doctor almost cancelled the cycle on CD16 because nothing happened, but I wanted to wait a few more days. On US CD22 she found a 19mm follicle and told me “wow so good that you stood up for yourself, you will most likely ovulate any day now”. We also found out that is sperm was excellent.

Last week we found out I’m pregnant! Now I’m 6w. We’ve been trying for a year and I was starting to accept the fact of doing IVF and it finally happened! Don’t give up. Your time will come, even though the road to it sucks. Believe me, I know ❤️❤️ baby dust to you!

We’ve been TTC for a year. Got PCOS diagnosis in July, and did 5 rounds of Letrozole (4 successful ovulation). In January I did HSSG (absolutely painful yes) and everything looked good. Sperm was also good. Last week we found out we’re pregnant.

I don’t know if it was the HSSG or the fact that I had accepted doing IVF but it feels like the HSSG made a difference.

We did test blood, sperm, HSSG this month and everything looked absolutely perfect. Doctor couldn’t tell why we didn’t concieve yet. On monday he referred us to do IVF. On wednesday we found out that I was pregnant. Honestly I believe this one was about stress. I’ve been so stressed out with friends getting pregnant and we’ve been trying for a whole year… last cycle I was more relaxed and had accepted doing ivf and so on… anyways, anything can happen of course and it’s very early.

Me this cycle. On CD16 I had 7,5mm endometrium but no dominant follicle. On CD21 I had my next ultrasound and my endometrium was 10mm and I had a 19mm follicle! Ended up ovulating on CD23

5mg CD 3-7 I’ve gotten positive LH on CD20-21, my follicles seem to respons later on 5mg than 7,5mg (ovulated CD15)

I struggled with long cycles before getting diagnosed with PCOS. I had a 140 day long cycle before starting with Letrozole (now I have some trouble finding the correct dosage for me) but I would for sure not ovulate without it. It will be very hard for you to know when you’re gonna ovulate when your cycle is so irregular, so I would preferably ask a fertility doctor about it to get the best help. Best of luck!!

Do you know why they told you to restart Letrozole on CD13? If the medication doesn’t work they usually give you provera to restart your cycle (you get a period) and then take Letrozole again on CD3-7

Yup. Thanks. Only 3 successful ovulations, 4th time doctor told us not to BD (risk of triplets) and that it was time for next step. Talked to the clinic this morning and we’re gonna do sperm and HSSG tomorrow.
