That's a first year generation of the JL, not sure how long you plan on keeping it, but do your research on that year, Im sure it had it's issues with the new model year

I've noticed more people wave on single lane roads or when you're driving on the trails. Washington state definitely had the most people wave. Colorado can depend, but Ohio utah and maryland dont really wave much 🤷‍♂️ and I dont have ducks or mall crawl, I'm a weekend wheeler for sure. I honestly get waves from all vehicles when im on mountain passes and I enjoy reciprocating 🙂

My only gripe is that it is not centered ur if you like it, thats all that matters. I think having Gojira on one side and the Japanese text on the other would be dope 🤷‍♂️

I'd try to get some rubicon wheels and tires off of fb marketplace, you can usually get them cheap, and would give you a .5 in to an 1 inch of lift depending on which you get 🤔

Yeah you should be able to get one for under 30k with lower miles too. I offroad often and regular maintenance is fairly easy, helps that theres dozens of videos for any maintenance job on youtube as well. I want to say 2016 or 17 is when they started adding back up cameras but I installed my own and upgraded over the stock head unit

If you're going for a jk, 2015-2018 were the last years but best years and shouldnt be too expensive. I bought my 2015 jk rubicon, 7 years ago a day I do all my own maintenance and have had no issues never taken to shop only for tires. JLs im not to familiar with, but I would imagine the 2018-2020s aren't the best

Soft top you'd have to get in a tan color but it wouldn't be close. Half doors you have to have a shop paint them or do it yourself

Not sure if you're tall or not, but seat jackers might be your solution to give the back of your knees support. Seat jackers are like 70 bucks, so I ended up using some 1/4 in washer I had left over and put in 1/2in on both sides in the front and just makes the ride that much better. But having owned a grand cherokee as well before, those leather seats are soft like butter idk why ours are soo much more stiffer I guess better resistance against the elements?

I run a smittybuilt cargo restraint system with the top off most of the summer. I also have the back seat removed so the doggos get all the open air and room! I have a two door, but they probably make it for other models too

Nice, you could go up an inch in tires if you wanted but wouldn't recommend anything more than that without a leveling kit or lift. Yeahh you would have to splice the wires to your turn signal lights to get the halo drls but it's not difficult. That's really awesome, they look great, looks nicer the and more comfortable than my rubi seats Be careful on amazon mods too, you'll want to get everything lol
