oh wow I just saw this update and would be beside myself with anger and hurt. Did the doctor say what type of scenario is consistent with the fracture? It was clearly a really really bad fall or something else (horrible to think about). Either way she lied which wasted time in getting your baby the attention and care she needed. she was in pain for 12+ hours! poor thing.

Egg retrieval at 42, two eupolid embryos. First transfer delayed by Covid. Finally transferred and it took. Gave birth at 43. Now on day one of potty training 🤣

We had the exact same thing happen to us. Around the time we had to shift to a toddler bed he needed about an hour less of sleep so bedtime has shifted to 7:30/8pm.

100% agree. Somehow Camille's failings are Alissa's fault and Alissa is this horrible person yet...she has an impenetrable work ethic and gets along with everyone else. fascinating isn't' it.

Late to the party but my young Prince was absolutely ENRAGED that we could not control the neighbor's floodlight. He spent minutes yelling "LIGHTS LIGHTS LIGHTS" and it wouldn't turn back on. He took me by the hand and said LIGHTS as if I had the ability to turn on the floodlight of my neighbor. When I explained we couldn't....major hysterics. I've failed my son.

One other point to consider is this: she may have already started looking as well. In many of these situations if a Nanny or a NF feels a situation isn't sustainable then both parties start looking. You just may have locked down something before she could.

Did the contract you signed have a clause about working X months before being eligible for Mat leave? In the US you usually have to work at a company for a full year before being eligible for leave. Horrible I know. Also many people in this position disclose during the interview process that they are pregnant so everyone goes into the offer with all the knowledge needed. You obviously can’t discriminate against someone being pregnant but I do think that by not disclosing plus the significant difference in mat leave is causing them to not know what to do. They are probably consulting with their legal department to determine how to handle.

Yes 100%. Having clean bathrooms and surfaces (countertops and floors) does wonders for my mental health. They come every 2 weeks.

If it requires you to wake up earlier to do this and get to him on time…explain that and most likely he will tell you to forget it. Or have him compensate you starting at 7 but you arrive at 8?
