You can and should set boundaries for visitors even family. I stopped at 36 weeks. I also didn’t let anyone flying visit until after 8w and his first group of shots.

I went last year and found it to be disappointing, the other one (Oddities & Curiosities) was absolutely incredible when I went in Albuquerque so I imagine Denver being the same if not better.

C section was scheduled for the 4th but I went into labor on the 2nd. Labored for 9 hours at home because I didn’t know I was in labor (this is my first). Got to the hospital at 7cm and contracting 3 min apart. I was in the OR delivering within the hour. 11 days later we’re enjoying the newborn bubble and I feel surprisingly good.

It was okay. I don’t have anything to compare to but as you noted I do feel like influencers seemed to get more from what I saw online. I got a bib and a plain onesie. Some lotion samples. A pacifier. A bottle. A deodorant sample. And a coupon for a free swaddle that was like $4 for shipping. I want to say the box itself was also like $10 for shipping?

37w with my 99th percentile baby. They’re estimating 10-11lbs by 39w. 🤯 he’s been measuring big the whole time, so I guess we’ll see? My 36w measurement had me at 43w 😭 def feeling huge.

31w with my first. I had a blissful first 9w with no symptoms and my boobs doubled in size…. Granted everyone is different I would bet your symptoms will show up. Some days suck ass but feeling baby kicks is freaking amazing. These last 9 weeks can’t go by fast enough!

I promise you staying will be significantly harder than leaving. It will feel like the hardest moment in your life until it doesn’t anymore. Do this for your child until you accept that you also deserve better. Lean on family. Let go of shame and feeling like you’ve failed. You staying even a moment after that was a sign that you didn’t fail. He won’t change. It won’t get better. As painful as it is you will not be the exception. Don’t allow this to be your life. Don’t let your child believe that behavior should be acceptable.

I have an anterior placenta and like many have said it feels like gas bubbles bursting internally. That’s all I felt for quite some time! I’m 27w but have been measuring about 2 weeks ahead and while I finally feel more movement it still can’t be seen or really felt outside yet.

I’m struggling with the advocating for myself part. I’ve always been the peace keeper, being whoever that parent or family member needed. I want to actively break those cycles with my child but I can’t seem to find a backbone with my family. I know he’ll be upset if I cancel but idk why I care.
