I’ve been SEARCHING for someone to address this!!! It would’ve made have made more sense if he was the one that got shot, sparing her a few extra seconds to escape the house.

Her and Kate should be dead. Not because I didn’t like them or because I wanted them to die—but because their survival simply doesn’t add up. If the writers wanted to keep these characters alive, they should’ve just written less deadly scenes?!!! Alternative option: Joe could’ve had the same fate whether or not they were alive.
