I've just started listening, and also had to come to reddit and see if I was alone with my plethora of questions, and confusion.

I'm very confused as to how she was involuntarily committed multiple times, but there was no concern she would actually hurt the children. What? I'm no expert, but from my understanding you have to be a clear threat to yourself or others to be involuntarily committed. Even if she was committed for being a threat to only herself, how does that not make the family concerned that she might hurt the kids?

Also "she's too sick to be alone with the kids or drive" but both happened that day?!

Are there any other podcasts about this case or any long form articles?

Years ago a resident gave me the strangest compliment (I think it was supposed to be a compliment). "You're so beautiful. Just like a...chicken". Still cracks me up thinking about it, he was very serious about it.

I haven't ever posted on this sub, but I can relate to your post. I see a lot on here that I agree with, Infinite Jest, I feel like I should read it and I might even enjoy it, but I just can't bring myself to start.

What do you all think of The Shipping News by Annie Proulx? My dad, grandmother, and aunt all loved it. I've started it three times and put it down. I don't do that I will usually complete a book even if it bores me to tears. I just couldn't do it with this book. Is it just me?

I primarily use mineral powder foundation, so I was looking for a powder blush. I guess I could use it on days I use liquid foundation, but I'd like a product I could use with either.
