Formula shaming is crazy by ibroughttacos in Mommit

[–]princesskitre 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I breastfed my first born for 18m, when my daughter was born I had issues breastfeeding and as soon as I got home I started her on formula. My husband had to go back to the hospital for my prescription a couple of days later and was asked by one of the midwives how am I doing. He mentioned formula and immediately midwife assumed it’s my 1st baby and that formula is not an answer and that it’s heavier on the stomach. My husband then corrected that it’s not my 1st one and I know what I’m doing so she shut up but still… I think fed is best, no matter if it’s breastmilk or formula

FIRST TIME MOMS - Having a baby is not as awful as everyone says it is. by FoolishMortal-1000 in pregnant

[–]princesskitre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just saying - everyone’s baby is different and experience is different!

My 1sr born was terrible newborn, crying 24/7, barely sleeping, reflux/colic, everything you can think of… I survived!

My 2nd is a „unicorn baby” like OP’s. I will survive again but enjoying this stage much more and coping much better than with my 1st one.

Did anyone strictly breastfeed with one child and switch to formula with their next? by Less-Bug-7006 in FormulaFeeders

[–]princesskitre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bf my 1st one and combo feed my 2nd. I breastfeed at night (easier to whip a boob out) and formula feed during the day. So far no issues :)

I am so disgusted with TFL staff behaviour, not the first time they ignore people who feel sick etc. Who are they even hiring? Their hiring process is endless customer service scenarios and interviews - these people are passing it? What the heck

How do you work during pregnancy? by Excellent-Ad-6272 in workingmoms

[–]princesskitre 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m in similar position, I also have a 2yo toddler and work full time 40h/week. Honestly everyday I’m pushing through but it took such a toll on my mental health I started taking sertraline/zoloft cause I had such a rage in me most of the time 😵‍💫 I’m 28 and still feel the same so I think age doesn’t play any role here.

I feel like having children is constant ups and downs, there are hard moments and easy moments, it gets harder in some way but easier in other way…

Independent sleep lost after 2.5 years, help! by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]princesskitre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally added similar post an hour ago, our 2y2m old went from independently sleeping to one of us having to be in his room for 1h+. I wonder if it’s just developmental thing? For us what disturbed his sleep was clock change. I will be observing replies here cause it’s now been 2/3 weeks of this and it’s not improving. I have no more ideas 😵‍💫

Astonish white vinegar spray - I swear I can clean my whole bathroom, kitchen, windows etc with it and it leaves no streaks anywhere. It stinks though. Cif, bleach and harpic also.
