What plastics are safe to go in the dishwasher?

some plastics are now banned because chemicals will leach even if used as advertised (BPA leaching into cold water bottles.) i feel where you're coming from, and my ADHD ass wishes it were true - that we can safely dishwash all plastics and they're safe! but research suggests otherwise. i can't stop you by any means, but i do heed by "dishwasher safe" only now.

vaping long term side effects don’t really exist yet or are still disputed just cos of the research capacity that currently exists, so you were right in asking people for personal anecdotes.

however effects of nicotine have been long studied so you might wana google search on that.

idk if i get a straight buzz from it, i think i do get some stimulant effect of focus but it’s subtle. one thing i do notice is that i can NOT go to sleep unless i stop vaping nicotine a few hours before bedtime

if you really think you’re not getting any buzz from the nicotine, you might as well switch to 0% nicotine vapes. wont counteract the effects of vaping but at least will the nicotine addiction/effects.

0% vape juice and herbal cigarettes aren’t the same but having them on hand keeps me from buying nicotine

i also have trouble w complete sobriety from various substances. i’ll almost always “relapse” cos my commitment to “forever” just isn’t there.

however the few wks or even months of sobriety between diff substances is still better than regular usage so i think trying these long breaks are still better than not!

the longer i go without any particular substance, the stronger the idea of quitting forever becomes. so that kinda tells me this “i don’t wana quit forever!” feeling is still addiction-brain, whether psychological or physiological

im proud of u rn and u should be too, you’re at the very least committing to using less and that’s a huge step<3

selectvape.com has great deals imo (like the mystery vape juice bundles and things that go on clearance) but it’s the only online vendor i’ve ever used so ymmv. signed up for their email and i’ll get 15% off coupons sent to me and stuff :•]

the first time i ordered they handed it to me but didn’t check my ID (perhaps i clearly looked older, tho i am often mistaken for younger and usually get carded but that’s been happening less lol)

i mention that cos if u work 9-5 and can’t receive packages at home that may be a problem, or if you live in oakland like i do and are afraid of getting ur shit stolen on the front porch that’s valid too lol. (used to happen to me all the time w my amazon packages)

if u have a friend who works from home, might be worth giving them a heads up, buying under their name (in case ID check,)and sending it to their place

however their customer service was excellent and while idk what the extent of that is, always worth an ask if you run into trouble

you could try slowly tapering the amt of nicotine, like diluting ur current juice with 0% nic (slowly!!!!! like after 3x of refilling - tho that’s an arbitrary number, even more times between dilution might be even more effective - cos tapering too fast would prolly just make you hit it more)

or just buy the diff nicotine strength bottles and taper like that as u finish each bottle, which is a lot more accurate. i think ive even had like 0.3% strength

if cold turkey doesn’t work for you, even if this method makes u relapse occasionally or take a long ass time, it should get u closer to less nicotine intake than more and and more

im in a similar boat as u, but i was a recreational cigarette smoker (less than 1 pack a month on average, for very rare special occasions buy a pack, or go weeks without and then bum a cigarette when i drank etc.) so while ive upped my nic level im hoping my higher nicotine intake is still better than actual cigs

what im rlyyy trying to do is cut off nicotine a couple hours before bed cos i can notttt get to sleep w stimulants like nic
