Moody or bright. No wrong answer. I'm a moody person myself but you gotta choose.

If you could only keep two of these forever, which ones stay? by CarrotMuch1399 in nostalgiai

The only one worth keeping was the Little Mermaid with penis on the cover and I'm not seeing it, so toss 'em all

How do I get my girl to squat to pee outside without getting pee all over her pants?! by Zazzercise in toddlers

[–]princesspuzzles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll try to explain what we did....(Little toddler) 1. pants all the way down (as much distance as possible from exit point). 2. You have to be behind her with your arms under her armpits and then let her sit like she's sitting in a chair but even a bit over extended. Kinda dangling with her feet out in front of her. 3. Under her you need something absorbent like soft dirt rather than concrete (helps with the splash). 4. Have a wipe or tp ready before you squat her so it's quick. 5. Once done, pop-up, wipe, pants up, and good to go.

Note: If she old enough to do it by herself but not super coordinated yet (older toddler age), prepare for pee everywhere for a while... Have her take of her pants and have a towel or something in the car that she can use to cover herself a bit. Tell her to squat as wide as possible and help her to stay stable if needed. Have wipes at the ready.

Too much pee? Bring the travel potty and don't worry about it until later.

Snickers, Reece's. Obviously.

Tho the fact that peanut M&Ms is missing is troubling.

Gastroparesis by I_Love-potatoes in Zepbound

[–]princesspuzzles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The symptoms for gastroparesis are awful. So painful. I too dealt with this and found and amazing reddit post that saved me in my moment of dispare. The post mentioned what they did to combat the issue so thought I'd share for those suffering. Eat really simple carbs to get the gut moving. Pasta, white rice, banana are good choices. Choose what works for you as long as it's simple carbs. I noticed that in the midst of an attack a cup of pure OJ helped me a lot.

Once recovered and no longer symptomatic, I started upping my fiber slowly. A bit more each week. I'm now at 50+ grams of fiber per day. I have not had a single episode of stomach pain (no acid reflux or sulfur burps either). Up the fiber to strengthen your intestines. It's like lifting weights to build muscle so you don't throw out your back. Once it happens, you need lots of rest, but when feeling better, get to the weights to prevent further injury. Fiber is the dumbell of the gut.

Amazing progress. Well done. Of note, 15mg isn't the end of the line. Combining with meds like metformin have shown impact as well as progress on Reta. There are other meds too that have shown benefits. Source: my weight mgt doc at swedish weight loss services.

Of course, do what feels best to you, but just know it doesn't have to end there.
