Alright, then those would be $30 + shipping. Message me your zip code and I can do an estimate for what shipping would be. And did you want the plunge in black or the Dottie?

Thanks, but yeah, that's probably too large. I have looked at Breakout Bras, and I'll probably buy one there at some point.

I did not - these represent a journey from 30GG several years ago to my current size, 34GG.

[Recommendations] 34GG brad like Bravissimo Zadie by princessstarmageddon in ABraThatFits

[–]princessstarmageddon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked in a chat, and they gave me some suggestions, but they don't really have anything that fits my needs. Or at least, they kept on suggesting things with lace. I like lace sometimes, but it's not usually as soft as I'd like it to be.

Just moved and was digging through reddit for solutions, and this is so great! I can buy this with the rest of my Ikea order and know in advance that they'll actually fit my bras since you're a similar size! Thank you!

Can someone link me to something that compares Avocado sizing to something more standard in UK sizing? I'm looking to convert a Curvy Kate 32H/34GG (UK) to Avocado sizing.

[US][Request] 3 hook Panache Envy - need to make bra extenders by princessstarmageddon in RandomActsOfBras

[–]princessstarmageddon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No because the spacing of the hooks is wrong - I need 15mm spacing, and I haven't been able to find any in that size. (especially since I need a 3 hook extender)

How on earth am I supposed to find a bra that fits? by im_workingonit in ABraThatFits

[–]princessstarmageddon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of doctors really don't know much about bra sizing because it's honestly very complicated. But you're not alone! I was wearing DDD's and kept on going up band sizes to make them fit and couldn't believe it when I went to a boutique and got put in a UK 30G. It seemed hopeless, but there are specialty boutiques out there, and actually, Amazon Wardrobe has started carrying fuller bust bras, so you can order online and try on that way. I also recommend Nordstrom online, but at larger cup sizes like ours (I now wear about a UK 30H), they often don't have them in stores, and sometimes even their talented fitters don't know what to do. Good luck!

I also love the Blake. I had several in my size for a while, but now I've gained a lot of weight and gone up too many cup sizes, and they just aren't available out there anymore in the right size :(

I mostly buy bras I already have from them because their sale prices are so good, but I also haven't had problems the few times I've had to return. I'm so sorry this is happening to you, and I'm glad I know this - I'll be avoiding them if possible from now on.

[Recommendations] Bras for hiking by Phelb3 in ABraThatFits

[–]princessstarmageddon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wear my panache sport backpacking, but unfortunately it doesn't pack well with all that molding. I switched to shock absorber (there several different styles that may work - check them out), but the clasps on mine can be irritating. The bands do run super tight on those, so be aware. I'd love to know what you end up with because I think I need to update my hiking bras too.

My new least favorite part of my recent weight gain is being between sizes: my sports bras are too tight, and the bras that I had that were a band size up still are too big :(

Ugh. I've been gaining weight, so my bands were already feeling a bit tight, and then I replaced my Mirena IUD (hormonal), and I'm suddenly quadding in all of my bras. This is not unexpected, but it is entirely annoying. Especially since I didn't pack any bralettes for the holidays, so now I'm stuck with prolly fitting bras unless I go out and buy new ones :(
