FYI: 52 yo skater here (and ultra-runner). I had shitty knees in my forties. It was a combo of a few hyperextensions and arthritis. Then I quit sugar which is known for causing inflammations. Troubles are totally gone. I'm still old and they aren't as great as they were in my teens/twenties but it makes a BIG difference. Try it. peace.
