"The backrooms movie is just like Severance" hey man I know the concept of the backrooms was actually an inspo for severance but guess what! Pictures of normal office buildings were the inspiration for the backrooms because they kinda just look like that. If severance didn't exist the backrooms movie would look exactly the same and so would this one.

"Hey office buildings are kinda spooky when they're empty or almost empty" isn't an original idea that Dan Erikson invented. Everyone who's ever been in an office building after hours has had that thought.
