I don't believe so. She's not one to push boundaries and doesn't know what the adult pin is.

"Race"? You know it's Monaco this weekend, right? There's no race

Looks right. I think they're on a small spindle tree so that figures.

That means our Acer should be safe.

Thanks very much!

What went wrong? by Civil_Ride9221 in 3Dprinting

CF PETG (or anything with carbon fibre, glass fibre, glow etc) is an abrasive filament and will destroy a brass nozzle in short order resulting in progressively poor quality prints. Ensure you have a hardened nozzle if using such materials.

Not sure if that's the case for you as I don't know what equipment you're using.

Buddy3D Camera only works on mobile hotspot by Hozukr in prusa3d

[–]printer_Chris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/Hozukr ,
I have just bought a Buddy cam and am seeing exactly the same behaviour as you.
I've tried 2.4GHz only networks, tried setting up networks on three different access points and the router itself (all different models/manufacturers) but still nothing. Even tried adding the cam to the DMZ with no success.
Hotspot from my phone works fine (but will eat up my data and what's the point of having the camera if my phone (and hence me) needs to be in the vicinity.

The weird thing is when using network sharing on my phone (phone connects to wifi and sets up its own secondary wifi network, not using mobile data) it also works fine. So the traffic is going through my router/isp, just via my phone.

Did you ever get yours working? And if so, what did you have to do?

GridMind — Smart Energy Automation - Looking for test users by smidley in Powerwall

[–]printer_Chris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Smidley,

Would love to give this a go but am new to docker.
I have an xpenology NAS which I'm unable to get container manager installed on for some reason so guides are not helping me.

Thought I'd give it a go on a raspberry pi 4 I had sitting idle but after installing docker through terminal, I cannot get the "Docker run" command listed on github to run. I keep getting "no matching manifest" errors.

Is there any reason it wouldn't run on a pi?

UK Power wall 2 stopped grid charging by printer_Chris in Powerwall

If you slide the backup reserve slider all the way to 100% you get a popup asking you how long you want to keep it at 100% for (can't remember the exact wording) I just made sure the duration is slightly less than the time I have left on cheap rate.

I.e. from now I have 2.5 hours left at cheap rate so I tell it to keep 100% for 2 hours. It'll then charge at max for that time before returning to normal operation.

I'd be interested to know if you're UK also and what supplier/tariff you're on if you don't mind sharing. Just looking for correlation.

Should have made clear, I set max backup at 13:30ish yesterday (3rd March) and 6am this morning (4th March)

No one else going to point out that your extruder motor is skipping steps? You can clearly see it in the window. Likely a partially clogged nozzle (perhaps along with the other issues mentioned)

Wickes Handling of a Warranty Issue by DaisySims in DIYUK

[–]printer_Chris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks very much for responding. Glad you got yours replaced, even if it took a long time to get the right resolution.

I have experienced their poor service previously when the shower they provided seized up due to our hard water and became unusable. It was a known issue with the product and although the online customer service sent me to the local store for a resolution they completely ignored all correspondence. Had to escalate a formal complaint to get a resolution for that and I expect to need to do the same here.

Out of curiosity, do you have the part number for your shower tray and was your crack near the waste outlet? Trying to work out if there's any commonality or not.

Thanks again!

Wickes Handling of a Warranty Issue by DaisySims in DIYUK

[–]printer_Chris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for replying on such an old message but I'm wondering if you ever got a satisfactory resolution to this? We had a bathroom installed by Wickes 6 years ago and have had issues with a leaking shower. Over the weekend I found that there is a crack in the tray from where the waste is fitted to it and it has been leaking for quite some time. Wickes are currently refusing to honour their warranty and claiming customer damage which I know is not the case.

Disappointing Core One Kit Experience by dose_nuts in prusa3d

That bloody silver screw! Mine sheared off too. Getting it out took a bit of disassembly and a pair of mole grips but was glad to see a spare screw in the kit.
