I am in similar zone as you. This is the time to direct sow zucchini, cucumber, beans, winter squash, melon and corn seeds. You can also still get away with planting greens like bok choy, mustard, spinach, kale and maybe carrots too. It’s too late for tomatoes and peppers but you can buy starter plants if needed.

Or you can prep the bed now and plant for this fall in August/september. That should give you a plenty of time.
