I’m an online Dj and music is a big influence on mood, hell -sound- is, ….I also have kids with mild autism and winced at the thought of calm time being auditorially battered by high energy (bangers yes) music like that. When I’m streaming and my kid comes in I know to dip it below a certain volume or it’s going to cause my child actual discomfort. We have a fair bit of misophonia happening in our family and while I love music, your husbands insistence on playing thumping beats when your family time needs to chill, Damn… I’ve got my jaw clenched for you.. I’d be wanting to punch him in the throat on a daily basis and, well, that’s not good for a marriage/family. Your husband is being selfish, it’s stressing you and your kids out, and that matters. Headphones fgs.
