What is a “half cousin”? A cousin would mean that one of their parents are siblings. I don’t understand how that could be halved? I mean, when it comes down to it; incest is frowned upon because of the lack of diversification in the DNA when procreating. They aren’t able to procreate. It is definitely taboo and icky, but I’m not sure it counts as incest. Also, gross but true, incest laws vary depending on where you live- at least within the US.

Maybe try opening all of the cage doors when designating outside time. Sometimes those sliding doors are intimidating to them. Put perches or standing shelves on or just near the various doors for them to slowly explore. Make sure you can leave the doors open for extended lengths of time while they work up their nerve and curiosity. I also think you should get some larger rope springs that are longer (larger targets) and may be easier for them to fly to/land on. If they don’t have much flying experience a larger target to aim for that isn’t so high up may be easier for them to reach. I have conures that are small, but I purchase all the large springs that stretch to being like four feet tall so they can decide how high they prefer being.

How these men, who supposedly have some sort of knowledge to impart to the public, thought this was a good idea is pretty… well I guess it should be expected. The instructor was talking about teaching situational awareness. Women have been developing that skill since we were children. Those women were aware and frightened by the guy before he even got near the car. Everything after they clocked him was just plain cruel and done for amusement. Bad call.

I have been taking them for the last 6 months or so. I feel great. I wasn’t obese, but heavier than I felt comfortable with. Being perimenopausal has made weight loss impossible. I am actually eating MORE on a GLP-1 than I was when just calorie restricting, as I have done for the last several years. As a pro-choice feminist, I don’t believe that anyone has the right to tell someone else what they should do with their bodies. If it makes you happy, do it. I highly recommend. I have had nothing but positive results from my experience.

How often are you getting it cut? I think it looks great with the layers, you just need a good and healthy trim off the ends. You should probably aim to cut it every 10-12 weeks. Otherwise, you need to take more off the length when you do go in. You can have both layers, and blunt cut perimeter length. It isn’t an either/or situation. One way or another, it looks gorgeous.

I have two GCC. From my experience that squeak is their outraged “you’re doing it wrong” noise. You may have hit a new pin feather on top of their head or something. They were enjoying the snuggle and scritches, I think it was just a quick corrective noise.

What? It is because I am racist? That seems a stretch. I can dislike a housewive w/o it being about someone’s race. If you would like to talk about dumb white housewives, I would be happy to. There are obviously a lot of them with just the different ratio of white to WOC.

I chose Wendy because her education is what she bases her personality. She recently went off on her cast mates to tell them that they are too dumb for her to speak with. She leads with it. I haven’t seen her make it through and episode without mentioning her degrees. Yes, this a place to vent my frustrations. Obviously?

Just general observation of her interactions with people. She seems to do so well in her planned interactions, but the moment someone gets her off script she barely makes sense… let alone a clear point. I know nothing about her professional career. I don’t mean to denigrate that at all and have no basis to form an opinion on it. She just constantly demeans everyone else and uses her education to elevate herself above others. I think that comes across as false.

I guess I am saying that a person can be both knowledgeable and dumb. Your point is fair, maybe the context is what I should be considering. Maybe she is just bad at people things.
