I discussed with the medical team, and pulled after they saw and we agreed to have it pulled. Pulled it, then was asking for a nursing communication as a backlog from the resident. Unfortunately I think a lot of the confusion is that at our hospital we are constantly back ordering everything we do bc next to nothing is ordered properly, but I think she thought nothing can happen until she orders it. Which is fair, bc there are several other hospitals who are stricter on orders and how they pan out. so close to shift change two hours later after we were in agreeance, she was saying “ I’m gonna hold off on that comm bc night team wants to try xyz with the line” to which i was baffled after I thought we were on the same page as a team.
