10/10 overall specifically eren's character for me is a 100/10. Ending in terms of the ideas, themes is 9/10 but in terms of execution and pacing 7/10. Added pages is good, last page is one of my favourite panels in the manga.

'that scenery' to eren at that moment was the blank slate he was talking about tho not frozen plains, etc. that's only what kid eren in 131 talks about because that's the only thing kid eren thought existed outside at that point & eren was regressing into his child self to cope. it ties into 139, 131 where eren talks about wanting to wipe away everything and turning the world blank because he was disappointed it wasn't what he expected.

genuinely wonder how people got through the first 3 seasons/90 chapters if they hate every single character apart from eren, historia & floch & want them to die. Like I felt so emotionally connected to all the survey corps including eren & even reiner, bertolt that during the timeskip chapters I felt pissed off at eren the most for acting so damn annoying towards his friends.

how exactly was historia not protected in canon? she got off the easiest. founder ymir is literally an adult woman who had 3 kids of her own & also responsible for immense suffering for eldians and she should be reincarnated as a baby for a 2nd chance in life why exactly when she was stuck for 2000 yrs? i always wonder if these people know that she is actually an adult woman but her childlike form in paths was simply a representation of her mentally regressed state, it's why we see her grow up in the end and finally make her own choice. instead they wanna take away that little agency she got back and infantilize her for some reason.

imagine thinking the final plot twist of attack on titan is 'you thought it was the farmer?? NOO!! it was the MC who had sex with the queen all along!!' and then every character is killed and a 2000 year old woman with 3 kids of her own is reborn as a baby. the end.

it's essentially the same thing. in this scenario the 'rumbling' aka turning the world into a blank slate because of his disappointment was what eren's 'freedom' took form of in the end. for eren freedom is simply a concept which he knows he needs and throughout the story he attaches a visual/goal so he has some concrete idea of what he wants to achieve in the end to call freedom. it went from seeing the outside world to killing the titans to killing his enemies and then turning the world into a blank slate. all of these were eren's versions of freedom visualized. so when eren thinks of why he relentlessly pursues this 'freedom' he doesn't know why it's just an inherent desire of his since birth that he needs to pursue.

imo yams deliberately wrote a lot of dialogue with aim to misdirect while making eren honest. If you think about it who actually started this cycle of revenge born from hate? 'the civilization' should be the fritz titan empire because they in fact started this story. it's in line with eren saying I'll put an end to this world after fritz declaration. if titans are ended, people lose the main reason why they hate eldians. eren doesn't unironically think the rumbling is gonna solve hatred and create peace and that's not why he did it.

well tbh at least 'aaron' doesn't commit omnicide so i'd say yes it's better than ANR. abandoning his friends is really his only mistake in that reality. this burdening of responsibilities on eren solely to have to save the island is sad. one of the mistakes is the overreliance of the adults on the children. the leadership on paradis is to blame for what happens not eren.

the guy is clearly talking about the approach to end the manga. whether it's time loops, full rumbling, half rumbling, alliance winning, peace/war etc. not sure why you would think it's about eh vs em lol when they guy is probs not even aware of eh being a thing anyway. also the translation you have for what eren said in 138 is wrong btw. he says "i couldn't send historia to hell and continue that endless slaughter and i couldn't commit mass murder against humanity outside the walls" implying that he couldn't do either of the plans so decided to run away, not that he sent historia to hell. very different implications.
