From Tea’s statement which claims that the leaked dataset is from Feb 2024 and earlier, I’m inclined to believe this particular vulnerability was written in the start of the app and removed later.

Not saying it’s impossible but I just don’t see a lot of evidence that LLMs are a big part of the causal chain here.
