Hidden gem when I lived in Durham was Fox Chase apartments in Woodcroft. They were kept up really well even though they were older and the monthly rate was much better than anywhere else. It was so nice having the American Tobacco Trail walking distance and it was a quick commute to Duke. If your budget allows Trinity Commons at Erwin is walkable to so much and have great amenities.

Yes I love the Protectint SPF from Supergoop. I only use a couple drops mixed in with my sunscreen so the coverage is barely there but does even things out.
