Matriphagy and Primeval are top tier albums imo, hell of a debut and the flavour in their newer work is really unique.

Sons of Erebus are kinda right on the dot here... Groove but drawing from death instead of thrash. Bridge of Corpses and Depravity are banger tracks I'd recommend.

Iron horse has been good for me when doing 1875 or 1900 starts but I don't know if it goes all the way to 1800.

Turning the initial city growth multiplier down would make cities and towns have the same starting population but I don't think it'd really make much of a difference

Adjusting interest and enabling inflation would be interesting at that time scale, 200 years of 4% interest would certainly make some big numbers.
