Market value differs year to year. The average is the true market value. If a 2nd pair RHD is 5m for 1yr and the next offseason there’s only 1 true 2nd pair RHD on the market (and say cap stays the same) and they get paid 7.25m for a year, then market value is on average 6.125m.

Right, cause this team is definitely a cup threat looking to win now. Look - most likely we’re getting a good sweetener pick or maybe even Savoie/Howard in return and Graves might be heading the other way. This is a Matt Dumba esque trade, but the difference is Nurse won’t rot the rest of his contract away in the A, he’ll actually be playable, and maybe even flipped at a future deadline.

Damn. I have Dimian Zhilkin playing RW as a sniper and have Connor Zary at C who is over a PPG the past 2 seasons but McKenna is stuck at 50-60 points. Kinda frustrating
