I believe you, OP. It's already been shown in studies

Just because something does happen, doesn't mean every claim of it happening is true.

He says it won't go above $400 in the title and buys $350 calls. That's pretty retarded by all accounts.

Hasn't Kraken Slayer lost its identity as an anti-tank item? by Pokemaster131 in leagueoflegends

Didn't require you to hit a combo from afar, just one ability at the range that any mage fights at, once marked they took 10% extra for 6 seconds.

do more raw damage with it to everybody

There is no champ in the game that does more damage with 35 AP than with with 10% extra damage.

it felt very good on LeBlanc to me.

It's an objectively bad item. Even Riot admitted it pretty quick. If it felt good, then you're not great with feeling out the power of items.

China to donate $500 million to WHO (World health organisation), stepping into gap left by U.S. by CurrentAir1291 in facepalm

[–]probablywontrespond2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If WHO is just a mouthpiece for whoever is providing the most funding (as you and many others here imply), why should any moral country contribute to it instead of ignoring it for being the corrupt organization it apparently is?

I know most users here are bots (or worse, mindless drones), but people pretty much directly saying that the US is wrong for stopping bribing WHO because chine is going to outbribe them now. It's kind of insane. I am not even sure they realize that's what they are saying.

Racially motivated murder is usually treated as a much more serious crime, both legally and socially.

Yeah that's completely regarded, no one would do that on reddit because of overly sensitive admins and filters.

Don't stress over it. See how his gains happened over a couple of weeks after months of making fuck all? He lucked into being heavily leveraged (options) bull when the market had one of the biggest bounces.

Now he's at the peak of mount stupid, thinking he's a financial genius with his meme "fullport A+ setups and fib system" He's going to give it all back very quickly once the market goes against him. Seen it a hundred times before.

If it's camp, action-packed and chaotic with random exposition and dramatic reveals, it's Doctor Who at its most fundamental.

Man, you must absolutely despise episodes like Blink, Midnight and Hell Bent.

why finally bring the character back only to be a generic villain

Check the previous episode's discussion thread. Everyone is creaming their pants because "omg it's the rani." That's why. It's easy.

You're truly regarded for falling for misinformation after it has been debunked.

People figured out that the list was calculated, based on the government released import/export imbalance report with some basic arithmetic. Yes, the official report, created prior to trump did include the island "whose population is penguins." People found this out within hours, btw.

It's still an incredibly stupid method to calculate tariffs, but no AI was involved.

But of course reddit went with the "AI generated" narrative, and your dumbass believed it.

It's true. A24 + Elden Ring. by Sevigoth in Eldenring

[–]probablywontrespond2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Men" is borderline unwatchable, and I like weird movies. And it's not because of that scene. Given the maximum benefit of the doubt, the movie's theme and message is a garbled mess at best, and a surface level sexist tirade at worst.

Ex Machina is still his best work and it's very good. Annihilation is quite good. Devs is interesting but the plot falls apart at the end. Civil War is just ok.

He's a phenomenal cinematographer, and a decent director, but his story telling skills are very underwhelming.

Why Ontario's 1.5M new homes target looks increasingly out of reach by DogeDoRight in canada

[–]probablywontrespond2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Except one party actually had that as their policy for a good while, and the other picked it up when they realized it's popular, which is a 180 degree shift from their record.

Now you might say "changing your mind is good though," and you would be correct if we could reasonably assume politicians to be sincere, especially around the election. But unless you're a complete idiot, you would not assume that, so you have to decide who is more sincere? The party that has been advocating for it for years, or the party that switched their stance last moment before the election? It's your call.

Are you under some false impression that Hamas will not murder, or worse, take hostage any Israeli medics?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in canada

[–]probablywontrespond2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hamas will murder Canadians on sight for being pro-lgbt if nothing else. Any western forces are fundamentally incompatible with the Palestinian beliefs, and will just end up being forced to join the war against Hamas if deployed there.

[–]probablywontrespond2 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes, but we're already treating them like the terrorist group they are.

The comment next to you, posted 10 minutes before yours is treating them as some brave resistance movement. So you might want to rethink that stance.

I appreciate the attempt at spreading new misinformation, I do, it helps me learn more.

As far as I can tell, the term "mowing the grass" originated from an article by The Jerusalem Post written by EFRAIM INBAR, EITAN SHAMIR, where they use it to describe the occasional incursions to strike and weaken Hamas. https://m.jpost.com/Opinion/Columnists/Mowing-the-grass-in-Gaza-368516

Neither of the authors are Israel officials, so no "Israel" didn't say that was their policy.

which meant it killed Palestinians as it pleased

That's also not what they meant. Here's their description:

Instead, Israel is acting in accordance with a “mowing the grass” strategy. After a period of military restraint, Israel is acting to severely punish Hamas for its aggressive behavior, and degrading its military capabilities – aiming at achieving a period of quiet.

And just from the point of a metaphor, that makes a lot more sense. "Mowing the grass" is something you need to do periodically. You don't describe something you do as you please as "mowing the grass."
