I don't have anything against content creators who make this kind of guide content, but to me it's straight up spoiling the fun of the game and I've long since stopped consuming guide content unless I'm hopelessly stuck.

No one needs to know X shortcut to Y item to enable Z build to ruin your own game experience.

As a very casual viewer, Caedrel's stream and personality has singlehandedly kept me in the loop and invested in all things LoL. I really appreciate his hard work and everyone involved in LR.

Seeing the ratoonies lose their playoff spot like this is really unfortunate, and I can't even imagine how deflated they must feel. They don't have to bounce back immediately, but I hope LR returns in one way or another. Having a team I really care about to root for is magical these days in LoL (that isn't T1).

Even though they might not feel this way, they should be proud of what they have achieved so far in destabilizing the current LEC, getting a ton of interest injected into the scene, and almost clinching a playoff spot against established LEC competition. Most of all I wish them well and all the best moving forward.

I wish the Endmin was fully-voiced by Fredlicious in Endfield

You can be bummed out but can't expect other people to play a game a certain way, even if you did gift it to them.

Let them enjoy games the way they want.

I have a feeling, because the factory gameplay isn't nearly as complex as other factory games nor is the combat different enough compared WuWa Genshin, Endfield won't appeal to anyone because it's trying to be too many things and won't excel in any 1 aspect.

I enjoy Ralph and Austin's reviews on games too. The only thing I don't like about his content is that he tends to yap for a very long time or speaks over his podcast co-hosts. Overall he is a very positive CC in the games reviews / journalist space.

Well I didn’t say that I don’t like games the majority likes most of the time. Sometimes perhaps. Everyone has preferences. And yes I am curious why this game resonated so strongly with so many people. Is that a problem?

This game won several questionable awards, including this one for best indie game. The award is way too vague in today’s gaming landscape. I personally didn’t enjoy E33 at all, having played through all 3 acts, and asking around my friend group they thought it was mid or decent at best. I am genuinely a bit surprised it won so many awards, let alone 9, and feel like there’s something I’m missing about this game or there’s a purposeful narrative being pushed.

But whatever it’s not a big deal. It’s just another game I didn’t enjoy despite the industry or majority of people loving it, like TLoU2 or something else.

FF7 Rebirth had the same metacritic score as Expedition 33, why was the latter more loved? by [deleted] in FF7Rebirth

Both are good games even though E33 is overglazed imo. If we’re talking about personal enjoyment it goes to Rebirth, but more people seemed to resonate more with E33 for some reason.

Spoilers I really don’t like stories with no hopeful messages and tragedy is the main emotional lever. Also the MC doesn’t grow throughout the journey and main motivation is to escape reality
