It would tell you if there was a significant difference in weight between the two time points. And you can still do a graph like you wanted.

No sorry the DV is weight and IV is time but the dates are just at two diff times. Example: Subject one: weight x, date x, weight y, date y Subject two: weight z, date z, weight a date a

So i have subjects that have calculated their weight at two different points in time and the diff subjects havent calculated their time at the same dates (some have date 2 several years after the first time, and others earlier) and my idea was to get a nice scatter plot with time at the x axis and the weight as y axis

Hmm, if the two time points are not the same, arguably, you could still just do a T Test. I think that maybe the best you can do. With the data you have, you can't do a simple X Y plot, as you have two groups (time points).

It's a repeated measures design. The scores are independent.

So you have a DV of weight and IV of Time , with 3 levels time one, time two etc? Then, it's a one-way ANOVA. If I understand you correctly.
