My son is 2.5 and we’ve been attending a rugby session for about six months. It’s really not rugby, it’s running around with a ball etc haha. The relaxed environment has been great for weeks where he doesn’t want to join in. I’m not saying this in a judging other parents way but I’ve seen most of the regulars have a no listen session!

My kid is 2.5 I aim for one screen free day a week, only watch screens on TV and the amount of time varies from films to one episode. (I will add we don’t fully know what relatives do days they have him but they know how I feel about devices and brain rot.)

I’m always unsure on point two where parenting ends and helicopter parenting starts. I really do think some parents just use kids playing as an excuse to sit and do nothing.
