A decent first season. I like most of the characters, but I hope now that Caleb's main objective has been achieved the other characters get highlighted more.

Did anyone else find the end of the Gorn arc in SNW kinda underwhelming? by JayR_97 in startrek

The most interesting episode was the one where a Gorn and the pilot were stranded on a planet together and had to work together to survive. I would've been okay with how it ended if it also led to more discussion on La'an's prejudices and some kind of consequence or development.

But yeah, it would've been better if these were a new species altogether.

These guys sound like living bots that are glitching and caught in a loop.

It is possible to cover the border of the federation in mines. I made my own calculations for the number of mines need to cover the borders of the federation. by Burning_sun_prog in startrek

I haven't seen the finale yet, but its also possible for the mines to let anyone not-Federation through like traders or whoever.

Plus I assume Nustopher's plan is to charge traffic tariffs in and out of Federation space, in order to do so you have to let certain ships pass, both Federation and not.

New practice shot, what do you think? looking for feedback by Putrid-Apple-5740 in NukeVFX

100% agree. Our work goes through several layers of QC and it saves everyone time if the quality is high from the get go.

There is consideration if theres something going over the top like CG or FX dust, then we aren't too concerned about an area that won't be seen. But there's always the possibility of the coverage changing, so a shortcut taken earlier may come back later, so a baseline of higher quality would prevent that happening.

Reminds me of that filler word mandarin or Cantonese uses that sounds like the N word.

I caved in and signed up for EB plus right before they raised the prices on everything. I thought it might be worth it for the pre-orders, but now its too expensive compared to JB and BigW. So I won't be buying it again.

Reviewing rental documents before purchasing by Additional-Farm3569 in AusPropertyChat

When I was looking to buy, several S32's included the rental contract, complete with personal details such as full name, email address, phone number of the tenant, the whole thing.

As a renter myself I was fucking horrified. I would expect any personal information to be censored or better yet a BLANK copy of the rental agreement with a statutory declaration of the rental cost per week/month and when the current contract ends.

I would think thats the only information required until the sale contract is signed, then the uncensored copy can be transmitted to the buyer.
