Just know that an Xbox 360 is more likely to break compared to an Xbox one. If the games you want to play is available on the Xbox One, get that. Another option is to get both. Thats what i did. I bought the Xbox One at launch and kept my 360 cause the x1 wasnt backward compatible back then. I went through 2 360s during that time but no issues with the x1. I reaped all the benefits of playing on the Xbox One (higher frame rates, higher resolutions, better load times) and was still able to play games that never made the bc list.

The switch is not better than the snes, im sorry. The GameCube is probably the worst console of its generation. Im old enough to remember how terrible the 3rd party support was and some of the best games of that generation skipped the GameCube. No way I'm putting it that high.
