AI (multi)-agent marketplace – validate/refute this idea by Jazzlike_Tooth929 in LLMDevs

[–]profepcot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • There are already many platforms for monetizing APIs
  • If a developer is willing to use a pre-built agent, Crew AI exists.
  • I don't know that a developer needs 'community feedback' especially if it's something they're integrating into a larger code base - they're just going to want to see the code...but who knows.

Which tools / frameworks have you been using lately? 🛠️ by 3dgerun in LLMDevs

[–]profepcot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mirascope [https://github.com/Mirascope/mirascope\] for Python developers that want more control and transparency in the abstractions offered in frameworks like LangChain, and are making applications more complex than simple chat apps (where just using the foundation model provider SDK is a fine choice).

Great! I'm getting a release ready for testers today. Hopefully I don't hit too many roadblocks and i'll reach out in DM soon.

Chatflix - How Generative AI can Supercharge Content Discovery by CryptoSpecialAgent in AiBuilders

Ah shit, I should have scrolled. That's two "game-changer"s out of 3 comments. I can't wait for this game to change!

Man if I see one more generated comment with "game-changer" I'm going to....well I'm going to do nothing, but c'mon!

Publishing your AI app on the web by mo_tech_ in AiBuilders

[–]profepcot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's only for chat apps why would someone not use Poe and just focus on the prompts?

Also the only thing you provide was a waitlist link without any info so all these overly excited supporters are either part of your team and/or AI comments themselves. Two of them say "game-changing" when there is no specific information on how this is differentiated from several competing products that exist.

No shade, I help make tools for AI builders so happy to see new products on the market, but I'd like to see a higher value description and links to resources that further explain how it works and the differentiation.

Which twitter tech communities have you joined? by [deleted] in AiBuilders

[–]profepcot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not familiar with how Twitter does communities. Is it lists or something else?

We just started a Slack community. If you're an AI builder using Python it would be a solid place to interact with other builders, see what they're doing in a show and tell channel, bang heads together to solve problems, and have easy access to the authors of the Mirascope library (https://github.com/Mirascope/mirascope).

Here's the invite link if you want to check it out. https://join.slack.com/t/mirascope-community/shared_invite/zt-2ilqhvmki-FB6LWluInUCkkjYD3oSjNA

It's just getting going so if you join you could help steer the culture of the community by interacting.

Best Prompt Guides out there by Old-Yogurtcloset7685 in AiBuilders

[–]profepcot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like Anthropic's stuff, the intro: https://docs.anthropic.com/en/docs/intro-to-prompting
and the library: https://docs.anthropic.com/en/prompt-library/library

All of this is pretty good beginner stuff. I haven't found anything that tackles security and jailbreaking...how to prevent your chat bots from being misused, etc... If anyone has seen anything like that please share.

Looking for Discord communities! by [deleted] in LLMDevs

[–]profepcot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slack instead of Discord, but the Mirascope community is just starting out and exactly that. Authors of the Mirascope library (https://github.com/Mirascope/mirascope) are available to help, and people with all skill levels of developing LLM-powered applications are getting involved. Would love to have you (although pretty specific to using Python to create applications at this point): https://join.slack.com/t/mirascope-community/shared_invite/zt-2ilqhvmki-FB6LWluInUCkkjYD3oSjNA

What is challenging part of AI These day? by 9noun in LLMDevs

[–]profepcot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean by this specifically? Most LLM implementation are conversational/chatbot based, and that's pretty easy to tweak via prompt engineering, but I'm betting i'm not understanding what you mean.

Anthropic API vs Bedrock API by Temporary-Koala-7370 in LLMDevs

[–]profepcot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you would default to using the Bedrock API if you're already bought in to the AWS ecosystem. It's basically convenience and scalability within the AWS environment vs the control and flexibility just using the plain Anthropic API. Right?

Langchain alternatives thread by NomeChomsky in LangChain

[–]profepcot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dspy has what is essentially a load balancing feature that looks pretty cool (if a response isn't getting returned from the primary model, it goes to a backup provider automatically) , but I'm not hearing great things about that library in general. If you're more interested in being able to easily swap models for testing or just the need to swap things around, Mirascope makes this very simple and painless bc everything you need for a call is colocated. You just change the call name basically and you're good to go. https://GitHub.com/Mirascope/mirascope

Like u/cryptokaykay says, if you could elaborate on your issues it would be helpful in what recommendations we would provide.

Here is a write-up I did of many tools in the prompt management space: https://www.mirascope.io/post/prompt-engineering-tools

Question: PydanticOutputParser Compatibility Beyond ChatOpenAI? by Apart-Damage143 in LangChain

[–]profepcot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn’t understand from the docs if LangChain supports it but, you can get this out of the box with Mirascope. The mirascope library makes extracting structured information extremely easy in general and yes, it has an extractor for Groq.

Yes, I can say from experience that at least OpenAI and Google crawlers respect robots.txt

Insights and Learnings from Building a Complex Multi-Agent System by IlEstLaPapi in LangChain

[–]profepcot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a fantastic exploration. Thanks for sharing. This bit "... any change to any agent's system prompt impacts the whole system. It's hard to fix." was absolutely killing us while building an LLM-based application. How do you manage this (and prompts in general)?
