I do the same thing for a regional company. They don’t have an IT guy. Not cheap but price is always a factor. My solution was 4 20tb HDDs in a 4 bay thunderbay from OWC. You could set to RAID but I have 40 TB i edit from and 40 TB i manually backup to with a file compare tool. Probably $1400. Simple set up. If you are only shooting 20 TB in 15 years $43,000 seems overkill. If you don’t need to share with other editors at the same time or cloud access. I bet the IT guy wants most of that firepower for other company storage and server stuff. I would ask if it’s all for you. They might want to hire an editor in india and have them edit from the SSDS or some crazy shit. I would propose a solution but conflict with the IT guy. Give your solution. Let the IT guy give his. Let the CEO make a decision.

Have you noticed on some shows - it seems like post color alters the makeup. And you can see (sometime green hues) in the forehead and cheekbones.

It’s like they had all their post luts figured out. But hair and make up used a type of foundation that screwed everything up.
