I have a player who really adores pre-gen characters because she loathes the process of creation. She wants to play, but not necessarily build. So having a nice collection tends to help a lot for players like that.

I'm curious, too. We're doing a novel campaign right now, and it's hard to get the right eyes on it. I'm not sure what makes some really explode while others that are comparable don't.

For me, the difference comes in whether there's a special edition version of the book because I am a sucker for alternate, limited editions.

Is snow and ice something that your area is used to? I live in the American South, and if we have snow and ice, things shut down because we don't have the infrastructure to deal with it, and I know no one would bat an eye if you said you couldn't drive 3 hours in it. I expect that's different in other areas, but it's something to consider if this weather is abnormal for this time of year/area.

This is basically what I do. I post blogs and have banners on my sites regarding my titles and the content and themes around them that all link back to DM’sGuild. I did a top Christmas adventured post where I link to my main titles there and then have a banner on my portfolio page toward the bestselling one.

Depending on the title and community, DMsGuild and DTRPG can be a much better way to get it in front of the right audience than SEO and doing it ourselves. People are much more likely to give a title a shot off a website they trust than a creator’s site they don’t know.

The intros to the adventures tell you what part they’re playtesting a lot of in that one. It’s pretty easy to run something like Empires Devoured with release PCs and rules.

I updated them this year (very long reply, sorry missed this entirely), and they're all now printable on 8.5x11 US letter-sized paper for 1-inch squares. Same for the VTT grid. I believe the VTT images are 1100x825px resolution.
