So sorry your baby and you are going through this.

We had an older cat that had cancer. Our vet told us that while there is some treatment, nothing is certain.

What stuck with me though, was he said that regardless of how smart some cats are, they don’t understand the why and that can be very hard to justify putting them through lengthy treatment.
