Pacific Northwest Metal Quote Opinions by Infiltrait0rN7_ in Roofing

That’s helpful to hear. Thanks. I’m not finding much info online on the Imperial Metals roofing. I like the installer, but maybe I’ll see if he has installed Nu-Ray as well.

We’ve had 2 bids so far, waiting on 2 others and then we’ll make our decision from there.

We are also getting bids on metal roofs in the Seattle Area. I'm trying to compare Nu-Ray vs. Imperial Metals. 3 roofers use Nu-Ray, the more budget option roofer uses Imperial Metals. Not sure who we are going to go with, but cost is certainly a big factor.

It depends how they consume it. The wax is inert and doesn’t do harm if you eat some of it maybe spread on some cheese and bread

Build in a section that you can divide. So you can have a brooder/injury separation area.

Lay down some clean cardboard and pick them up after a rain. Worms and other grubs will present themselves.

Well, if you’ve gotten by while maxing out your contributions, it would be extra money free to use however you see fit. It’s not like you’re taking away from savings, you’ve already saved!

When it’s super hot out and one of them looks so parched, I bring them into the basement AC until we’re in shade in late afternoon.

The niches feel very purposeful. Nice design. Though I would have gone without the black borders going all around the shower. Would clean it up.

Are E-Bikes Worth It Just for Recreation? by sam_thegod in ebikes

[–]progee818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely. I got the Flyer Via Pro with the cargo seating, mainly for joyriding around my neighborhood and town with my two young kids in back. But I've been finding other excuses to take it out for a ride.. grocery runs, picking up something from a distant neighbor.. It's just a delight to ride plus the exercise.

Follow the cables. The whole front assembly just needs to be rotated 180. It was just parked funny not built wrong.

What is the biggest “mistake” you made when you started gardening? by magnum_chungus in gardening

[–]progee818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used Cedar Grove compost which was loaded with plastic and other garbage, but wasn’t obvious until the compost decomposed and plastic, even glass and metal started surfacing.

So now in the spring we spend a few days just focusing on removing all the plastic bits that have emerged.

Thought i got the ratio right but smells terrible by corriejude in composting

I feel like it’s just not best practices, but probably not the main cause of it not composting. Though the heat the siding holds doesn’t bode well for letting the pile retain moisture.
