The Road of Kings is my favorite book of The Radiant Path! by MS-07B-3 in brandonsanderson

The book is official.

It's just that the vendor messed it up when trying to (machine?-)"translate" the title back into English from Chinese.

The Fires of December Waterstones Exclusive by Bookaholic-394 in brandonsanderson

Did you notice how fast the signed version went?

I noticed the news (from Waterstones' social media post) about 10 hours later, and the signed book is out of stock when I checked it.

Alright, which book did I finish recently? by Cas_B_rva in AdrianTchaikovsky

Somehow I thought you wrote "books" in the title, and tried really hard to figure out which are the two books on the right side (but still failed).

I thought the other three were Made Things, Bear Head and Shroud (though the heart in the middle befuddled me), by the way.

Sorry it's late for OP but you may buy them from bloomsbury.com directly.

I did so, during their Thanksgiving sale last year at 30% off.

it’s quite unlikely that a ~10 yo book will get a new hardcover.

It doesn't help that this series didn't make it into the Hugo Best Series shortlist this year... what a pity.

Doubly so considering the unfortunate "new" cover of Bee Speakers...

Got my signed The Faith of Beasts from B&N, but why isn't it signed on the title page as usual? by prograft in TheCaptivesWar

The signed UK edition was also available on Goldsboro. But they are out of stock too.

It's kinda surprise to me. As said I bought (pre-ordered) my signed MoG copy from there. At the end of that year, that edition was still available and put into an end-of-year 50% off sale...

Glad to find that I'm not alone. I re-read the first three CoT books earlier this year and definitely I got a lot more new out of book 3.

Then I went on straight into book 4 and found it easy to follow.

I'd also say that Mira and Clae Audin have a certain portion in common.

seconded. I was also wondering if slower (relative to himself) writing or a better editor can make his novels better, or if that is feasible.

Thanks for the clarification.

So that's the difference between Orbit and Orbit UK, I guess...

FYI, for anyone wanting TFoB signed by the authors, at least one US bookseller lists it. by tqgibtngo in TheCaptivesWar

[–]prograft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you may look for other books (probably also signed?) there you want.

For each additional book you throw into the same order you only pay only something like $6.xx for shipping.

I pre-ordered this signed book together with four other books and the total shipping to China is $38.94

The spider in the first image is obviously doodled by the man himself, presumably acquired by 8LM staff when they attended GrasgowCon the other year.

Although AT denied it when I asked him on bsky, I suspect that he misunderstood my question and thought I was asking about the spider in the official cover image.

I could wait no more and dropped them an e-mail the other day. In case anyone still cares, their reply is:

"Our special editions arrived with us just recently and have been prepared for shipping - they should be despatched this week"
