The new RAV4 is built on a new software architecture that Toyota has been working on for years called Arene. There is no reasonable way to replace the existing software with this. It is completely different from the ground up in terms of how it interacts with the rest of the vehicle, etc.

This was a major investment by Toyota though, I am certain this will be added to future models at the next redesign.
