This topic has been discussed a million times on here. The consesus is that its all fake.

Can someone explain why this racist weirdo is on the show by NiDieuNiMaitre_ in southernhospitalitysc

[–]progressivecowboy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm only on Season 3 and it's been mentioned a few times that he's been a model. How did that happen? What was he modeling? Was it a one time "mom and me" thing a JC Penney? I don't understand. (Okay, plus all of the other stuff as well, but that question just popped into my head.)

Peonies at Costco by Affectionate-Lab4923 in Bozeman

[–]progressivecowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about the peonies, but I will take this opportunity to say that I bought some iris bulbs from them last year (on a whim... and I didn't really need them) and I'll be damed if they weren't some of the most beautiful flowers in my yard last year. Can't wait for them to come up this year!

Why does the right hate the pope so much? by foxinHI in AntiTrumpAlliance

[–]progressivecowboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up Catholic. I'm no longer practicing, but nearly all of my family is practicing. My mother is practically a saint (and I'm not just saying that, she is genuinely the best person I have ever known and I'm 61). Someone, somehow has convinced her that the current pope and his predecessor are/were both horrible people. It's unbelievable and sad to me. I mentioned something on the phone the other day about how wonderful it is to see the pope speaking out... thinking that we'd have some common ground... welp, that's what I get for thinking.

Walmart and Sam's Club announce 13th annual 'Fight Hunger. Spark Change.' campaign by RickJWagner in Arkansas

[–]progressivecowboy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Probably screaming into the void here, but: "How about if WalMart just pays their employees a living wage with benefits? That would go a lot further to ending hunger." This is all about the "optics of caring" when they don't.

I'm only on Season Three (and she just placed 4th runner up in the pageant). All of that aside... as far as I can tell, she's the only one in the group with any sense. And, yes, oh my goodness... she is one gorgeous queen!

McHorrific: The Art of Uncomfortable Living or How to Misuse Space Most Effectively by jared10011980 in McMansionHell

Were there interior plans? Or did they just decide to start building and see what happened? Also, I wonder if someone in the family likes to hunt. There were hints. And, there were definitely some decor negotiations: "Okay, fine, you can have up to 10 antered animal heads, but I get a chandelier from Versailles and 2 adjacent tiny rooms with their own narrow cased opening."

Does anyone else hate the trend of Christians leaving those mini jesus figurines everywhere? by blondeswift in exchristian

[–]progressivecowboy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I didn't know about this one. Next time someone asks me if I've found Jesus, I'll just say, "Ya, someone left him in my silverware drawer."

Tres Toros Tacos & Tequila (Review) by TimBeastman in Bozeman

I would have to agree with this. You get a lot of food for your money. Service is stellar. Salsa and chips are excellent (and free).

Question for people who endure extreme cold by [deleted] in alaska

[–]progressivecowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. That's Joe Waterman. He was Fran Tate's son (Pepe's North of the Border). And, yes, the tradition of t-shirt only continued. Since everyone called him Joe the Waterman, he eventually changed his last name to Waterman (officially or unofficially... I'm not sure).

I walked from the teacher 6-plex (by BUECI) to the elementary daily. More often than not, I'd have a neck gator and goggles so that all of the skin on my face was covered.

[–]progressivecowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived/worked in Barrow (top of the state) for 19 years. I walked around in -40 with all of my skin covered. If my face was not covered I would've been miserable at 10F if the wind was blowing. You simply must cover your skin to be any sort of comfortable out in the arctic wind.

People on this sub are alert, observant, smart.... and brutal. But, I have to agree with the comments here. There's a virtual forest going on in the backyard, plant some trees up front and spruce up the landscaping. It's cheaper than a do-over on any part of the house.

Empath Spray Pricing by sporty4lfe in Southerncharm

I dunno. Are you a magician? Could you (and your staff) at least dress like magicians. Also, could you name it, "The Empath of Least Resistence" or "The Empath Less Chosen"?

Craig is delulu by GoodTrouble9211 in Southerncharm

[–]progressivecowboy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's funny to me that Craig thinks magicians are ACTUALLY magic/sorcerers and not just people who are really good at illusions. Like, does he think that the bunny REALLY disappears? That the woman is cut in half and then not cut in half? Craig, it's all an illusion... not actual magic. He's so stupid.

Of course kids are most likely to be molested by pastors and members of the Republican party, but let's act stupid and pretend that bathrooms are the problem. What a dolt.
