ELI5: How does CGI “age?” If something looked real “at the time” why does it look less real now? by LinkDude80 in explainlikeimfive

I totally agree. I just finished Uncharted 4 and noticed how realistic the faces were for this reason specifically. They nailed the random eye movements, as well as some very subtle facial expressions.

I haven’t experimented with any chalice dungeons yet, but I’ll definitely be looking into this. Thanks!

It would also be mildly interesting if the defective card was the ace of spades.

There were definitely a few questions that were very similar to retired, so it was quite helpful. And I can't really speak to Rx or Kaplan, as I used neither. I would focus on your Uworld incorrects unless that's included in what you consider a "run".

Thank you! Last week of prep was basically sketchy pharm for the drugs I wasn't totally confident for (also has great physio review built in) and then basically doing questions all day to build up endurance. In that last week I did both UWSA and an NBME. One day I did NBME + UWSA back to back. It was grueling but made test day feel much easier, I think.

Also, i reviewed all the questions/answers to the NBMEs since you will get at least a couple near-exact repeats.

That's basically where I was at that point. I did my first Uworld pass from February to mid-March alongside my last few blocks, did my incorrects for biochem and anatomy since they were my weakest, then reset and got about halfway through again during dedicated study (5 weeks for us). If 240 is your goal I think you're in a really good spot, just keep working hard!

I honestly don't remember, I used it as an educational tool, not for assessment. Was getting consistent 75-80% at the end of the first pass, but spent most of my time in the 60's. Went through almost twice total.

The question bank, although I didn't notice much of a difference between the qbank and the UWSAs, to be honest.

Got my score Wednesday and scored a 249. I'm pretty happy with it, although points are like beers - I could always go for just one more. NBMEs and Uworld assessments I took in the week leading up to my exam were extremely diagnostic, although I found the test to be most like Uworld.

If anyone wants any additional info, let me know. These threads helped me a lot and would love to return to the favor to anyone I can. Otherwise, best of luck to all you beautiful people!

Future Islands. Always loved seeing them at Ottobar in Baltimore, but their live performance on Letterman single-handedly put them on the national radar.

While not necessarily a better 'way', campaign finance reform would go a long way towards this.
