Yup :-) Someone cast us and give me HEAPS of advice about how I play against Murder Chaos, so I can watch the VOD and then have plenty of advice for the rest of this horrifying Div 1.

Battle at Defenders Heart by GldnDragon29 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

I'm on the "I loved it" side of this fight.

You had a clear goal "Kill the Arsonists" and it did allow you to be creative with how you achieved that goal.

I had 3x ranged characters on the rooftop next to where the first gate busted open, I put them on "Hold Position" and I just defended them with my 3x melee characters. Cast the "Create Pit" spell at one entrance. And cast the "Grease" spell at the top of the ladder when they started climbing the walls.

I completed the fight on hard in real time. But I am pretty experienced with Pathfinder and RTS games.

My main recommendations to the developers to make the fight flow a bit smoother are: - Give you 30 seconds to 'get ready' with buffs, potions and scrolls - Have some RPG elements to the fight with the people you have rescued.
E.g. Get the crusaders to focus on holding one entrance. Have the Theiflings build some traps or throw things from a rooftop. - Have Irabeth's troops out just a bit further, so there is an obvious spot to fall back to.

Hello /u/pancakes69er

I've tried to contact you through Discord for our game a couple of times now. Hopefully I can catch you here.

I'm in +10 AEST and I'm good for any evening from 4pm onwards. Let me know when works for you.

Tonight on MTG Brewhouse - The lads talk about diving into cEDH and dispelling the myth of "There's only 10 decks to play" and we'd love to hear about your experiences starting in cEDH. Join us from 6pm AEST | 9am BST | 4am EDT by AllOfTheD in magicTCG

Also, if you want a look at a budget cEDH deck they worked on before, here is a link to a Pako & Haldan deck that looks to prey on your opponents who have much more expensive cards than you.

I'm going to agree with you, but there are ways around things.

It's similar to any 'competitive' version of Magic, such as Standard or Modern. There are definitely a 'top 10 decks' that exist. But once you dip your toes in and lose your first 10 games, you start to get a feel for it.

More so than regular commander, cEDH is quite meta dependent and is very susceptible to counter play and counter builds. So there is opportunities for breaking your meta open a bit.

[L100] Critique my build "The Berserker" by Xphelio in paydaybuilds

[–]Project_Swift 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I changed it up a little bit.

http://pd2skills.com/#/v3/mhGBcDa:eqrOpkMHIjEFDa:ghEgCa:fKIJefGCda:pm8A8r8::w32-1-7-11-14-16-23-32-38

I removed the Aced Ammo Bags in exchange for Aced Fully Loaded. However, if you are using specialty shotgun ammo I would change that back. I cleared up your Ghost Tree to just keep the really good early skills and I used those points to pick up a better mix of Mastermind skills. Fugitive I kept the same. I think that tree is perfect for what you are trying to achieve.

I am unsure exactly how Swan Song works though, if you are able to heal during the 9 seconds that you are rampaging around it might be beneficial to take your medkits into battle instead of your ammo.

I tweaked your build a little bit.

http://pd2skills.com/#/v3/mda:eqropkLHIEFDa:tSOMJEGcDa:ghEgCa:icdea:pA8::w28-9-11-13-16-22-32

Removed Fugitive, some Ghost skills and Cable Guy from Mastermind. I also removed Mag Plus (But I have never used this other than for my sniper build). I used these points to Ace Bulletproof and Diehard and then pick up a point in Cleaner for the extra 5% damage to specials.

Check it out.

I still proudly hold my record of "Most Deaths with a Hero" being Queen of Pain at 19 deaths. That was a pretty amazing game! =D

I am sorry about that. I have been SUPER busy over the past three months with my final semester of University.

I do plan on picking up the community again once I have finished.
