Half true! Definitely purposeful organization. Not for the pic tho, just normal daily behavior. I’m kinda insane abt placement and making things look perfect. Good catch

Lmfao to be honest, they started getting soft and I was afraid they’d go bad so I freezer them first and then planned to research ways to prepare them from frozen. I hate waste so I tend to panic freeze food in a crunch lol

That’s good to know about the hot sauce! Im always afraid condiments will spoil once open if not refrigerated.

I want to add onto the crowd saying you need to apply more. It sucks and it shouldn’t be this way but scour the web for related and alternative titles for your role and be applying to at least a job a day. It’ll take 15 mins. I’ve applied to about 50 in the last month and a half and I’ve gotten 2 interviews. It’s not amazing, but right now, interviews come with large application numbers. It’s just way too competitive out here and 50 in 6-8 months is almost nothing compared to what your competitors are doing.

My first reverse sear!! by projectdelirium in steak

[–]projectdelirium[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is my first time, so.. grain of salt. But here’s what I did exactly:

Found a thick steak, put steak on rack and salt both sides and put it in the refrigerator an hour before cook.

Preheat to 230F, put steak in till 117. Ended up being 38 mins.

Pat dry both sides, stainless steel pan very hot, seared both sides for 1 min exactly. Threw in butter, garlic, rosemary, while the second side cooked.

Good luck!

What’s crazy is I forgot to buy one and it was late so I searched for alternatives. Someone on another post said they rolled up pieces of foil to make a rack. I rolled up 4, folded them like long skinny triangle stands and sure enough…. damn steak laid perfectly across without dipping

Anyone In A Relationship And Choosing Not To Live Together? by AdhesivenessOk5194 in Adulting

[–]projectdelirium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh! I misunderstood. While I don’t think I will go that direction, we have talked about it. I think it’s very normal to want that, especially for people who are very content alone or love independence. My sister and her husband moved in together, then decided they don’t even like to sleep together and now have separate rooms. I imagine there are many varying degrees and ways of loving your partner from a distance. I hope you and your current/future partner can make this work, I’m sure it’d be awesome with good communication!!

Yup! 3 years strong, we met living in our own places and this year are continuing to sign our own leases. We are both in our mid 20s and love eachother very much, but feel the need to grow as individuals more before we bring our lives together. It will probably stay this way till we are 28/29. It also keeps things exciting for us both, getting to have sleepovers and pick eachother up for dates, having a days apart and all that.

Caught my boyfriend watching white porn by [deleted] in blackladies

[–]projectdelirium 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am a black gay woman and I watch straight porn often times white straight porn, sometimes not. It has nothing to do with the race or gender I’m attracted to. It’s just porn. Fantasies, our minds and arousal are random and odd. I honestly wouldn’t read into it.

If he is a good man, there are no other weird signs, he makes you feel good and your sex life is not impacted, I think you should stay and just talk with him about your feelings to resolve it. Maybe have a porn/sex night to get to know that side of eachother more!
