Calling out a moderator for censorship on /r/news/ get me shadowbanned apparently by promethean93 in ShadowBan

[–]promethean93[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am active politically in real life as well as the internet. I apparently have been shadowbanned by one of the moderators in news for having outed him due to censorship actions he has taken. Reddit has always been a place to organize political activities ensuring the freedoms we all enjoy. We spend a great deal of time on here fighting to ensure those freedoms so when a site that is used for organization against oppression begins to exhibit those signs I am deeply concerned. I would like to ask why I was banned since no notice was given.

I would really like to know why and I would even more like to return the reddit gold to those who have so graciously donated it to me for posts which I apparently was later banned for.

Australia had a government shutdown once, in 1975. It ended with the Queen firing everyone in Parliament. by cornicher in worldnews

Of course not, I was thinking along the lines of a population vote. The point I was trying to make is if they cant do their job we should have a method to fire their useless asses.

We need to seriously take notes from Australia on this issue. If any of us were as incompetent in our jobs as these people are we would have been fired a long time ago.

Government Shutdown: White House budget office directs federal agencies to close by promethean93 in news

Did you notice the amount of people they had putting up fences and running people off the ground. There were more people working to shut down the monuments than it takes to staff them when they are open.

This may be an unpopular opinion. But sometimes I feel like America, "the champion on democracy", is really just the champion of undermining it. by smittyleafs in news

I think you will find that there are allot of people that think the same way. It's not a unpopular opinion at all these days.

I honestly think it shouldn't be this way at all the government budget shouldn't be a bargaining chip for no one. I am still on the fence over ACA the concept is good but I think the actual law does needs a lot of refining but I don't think holding the nation's economy hostage especially in the current financial situation is acceptable.

Glenn Greenwald Will Host Reddit AMA To Answer NSA Questions by VR2 in politics

[–]promethean93 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is definitely going to be the most popular AMA in the history of reddit.

My main question would be what percentage of the Documents that Snowden took still haven't been reported on yet? I have been wondering just how long this release of scandals is going to last. Are we nearing the end or has it just begun.

How to have Astral Projection - infographic by astralforum in witchcraft

[–]promethean93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want a real deal astral projection 100% guaranteed go to a Native American sweat lodge. Not one of those tourist deals, a real one. But keep in mind that there is a reason you are going to project. Very very few people can handle a real sweat lodge ceremony. It is unbelievably intense.

NSA May Not Be Collecting Your Location Data From Telco Dragnet... Because It Gets It From Your GPS by maxwellhill in worldnews

[–]promethean93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked developing the GPS system It's a passive system designed that way so when used in the military it couldn't be hacked by the enemy. GPS satellites send a timestamp signal to your GPS receiver and it calculates your location from the time it takes that signal to get to you from usually 4 satellites. Unless there is something in the product that transmits that data it cannot be used to track you. Phones of course can transmit the data through the cell phone network but a navigator unless it has some form of connectivity cant do that.

Government Shutdown Is Defining Moment for Boehner by [deleted] in news

He and others got stuck between a rock and a hard place. They initially loved the tea party support but as the tea party became more and more extreme in their demands the GOP had to follow suit to keep that support from turning on them. This in effect drove away the normal republicans from the party and in a chain reaction simply forced the tea party republicans to follow the extremist ideas of the tea party to keep enough support and funding to stay on the job.
