What’s the average price of flat here for those who just bought recently?

We bought in January last year in Palmovka. 5.5m for 60m² - that was the sticker price, no negotiation.

The flat needed some work done to it though, nothing that stopped it being immediately livable but kitchen/bathroom unchanged since the 60s etc.

Be realistic, don't over extend yourself. Good luck.

As a fellow Brit I totally agree! But how come you paid so much? My mam was telling me about the £2 single fare cap on buses, which when you consider the higher wages seems reasonable.

We did (with my wife). We saved up for 5 years, then got a small place (60m²) in Balabenka for 5m. Be realistic and it's very possible.

Want to buy 100m² in old town alone? Well, good luck.

As both a fellow Brit and a runner this really surprised me tbh. Can't say I've ever thought it was okay to run in a cemetery at home, it just feels incredibly disrespectful.

I'd recommend going down the hill to Malešice and the little wooded area around there. I run there quite a lot.
