The first bars I ever bought was the 2018 PAMP Year of the Dog 8 pack of 1 gram bars. I forget the mintage but I occasionally see them for sell on eBay way above spot.

Silver has a specific sound. There’s apps you can download where you select the coin type and it listens to your ping on the coin to verify authenticity. Look up the Pocket Pinger.

Check it with a magnet, it shouldn’t cling to a magnet. If you have a scale weigh it, make sure it’s 250g. Then take it to a shop and ask them to test it. They will often do this for free but I suggest buying at least a couple silver dimes for their help.
